Impact Evaluation of Agricultural Trade Policy on Health and Nutrition
Helen Walls, Richard Smith
This project aims to improve the understanding of the relationships between agricultural trade policy, nutrition, and health.
The project is divided into two parts: 1) an ex-post evaluation of impact of agricultural trade policy on nutrition and health in a particular region and 2) an examination of effects of the agricultural trade component of Association of South-East Nations (ASEAN)-Aus-NZ Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA) on nutrition and health in Thailand and Australia.
A scenario-building strategy will be used to examine likely effects of AANZFTA trade conditions.
