We are pleased to share new Post-Doc opportunities at the National Veterinary School of Toulouse in integrated projects with the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment (INRAE).

 

Economic/econometric Evaluation of policies targeting the reduction of antibiotics in animal agriculture in Europe

The candidate will contribute to an ambitious research project aiming at creating an evaluation model of the economic impact of public policies in animal agriculture, targeting the reduction of antibiotic use (https://www.roadmap-h2020.eu/). She/he will be part of a working package funded by a European project, gathering 9 universities across the E.U. The objective of the post-doctoral position is to analyze antibiotic use abatement options in several animal production sectors and countries. Original dataset containing accounting data, production data description and antibiotic use data will be used.

Evolutionary economics/Agent-based Computational economics: forecasting the effects of policies in the French pig sector

The candidate will contribute to an ambitious research project (ECOANTIBIO) aiming at evaluating the impacts of public policies in animal agriculture, targeting the reduction of antibiotic use in the French swine sector. The candidate will participate to data mining and treatment, and will develop an agent-based economic modelling approach derived from environmental economics.

Bioeconomic optimization modelling applied to animal agriculture in Europe

The candidate will contribute to a research project aiming at developing a multicriteria sequential bioeconomic optimization model for the cattle herds. The specific task of the candidate will be to develop a cow-calf herd bioeconomic modelling, especially focused on multicriteria including biosecurity and respiratory diseases outcomes.
