Luca is a senior lecturer in Economics at the University of Greenwich; he considers himself as a development economist, with a research interest in agriculture, nutrition, demography and health. The focus of his research is mainly in sub-Saharan countries.

Bio
He has collaborated on several projects on rural income generating activities (RIGA) and on the socio-economic effects of energy related projects. Luca’s most recent research focuses on the socio-economic effects of an international standard for trade -ISPM 15-on a group of Sub-Saharan Countries.
He is currently collaborating on a corruption evidence related project (ACE) with a focus on Bangladesh, Nigeria and Tanzania.
