Houda graduated as a Veterinarian from Morocco and then joined a private veterinary practice specialised in poultry where she worked for five years.
She moved to England and studied for the Master in Control of Infectious Diseases in Animals at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2009. After her graduation, she worked as a research assistant within the Veterinary Epidemiology Economic and Public Health group in the RVC.
Houda started in October 2017 a Bloomsbury PhD on the Evaluation of Antimicrobial Resistance surveillance in the UK from a One Health perspective.
Her research interests include One Health, Antimicrobial resistance and surveillance.
