Alexandra did her undergraduate and master degree in Health Sciences. Her PhD project explores how food environments affect people's food purchasing behaviour in the UK.
Alexandra did her bachelor and master degree in Health Sciences in Hamburg, which provided her with an overview of various disciplines related to public health, including economics, ethics, occupational health and health promotion. She developed a strong interest in epidemiological research and engaged in different projects concerning behavioural and infectious disease epidemiology before she came to London to undertake her PhD.
