Alan Dangour is a Professor of Food and Nutrition for Global Health and Director of the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

In 2009, Alan worked with Professor Sir Andy Haines on the Lancet Series on health co-benefits of climate change mitigation and he has become increasingly involved in the connections between environment, agriculture, nutrition and health.

Alan now runs a large portfolio of interdisciplinary and intersectoral research with an international focus that he has developed with an exciting team of researchers with expertise in epidemiological and mathematical modelling, soil and agricultural science, environmental assessment, climate science, agricultural science, environmental assessment, climate science, nutrition and health.
